Antarctica Reflections
The remote region of Antarctica is one of the planet's last true wilderness destinations. The polar landscape is rugged, wild and also fragile. There is something to see in every direction from one end of the silent sky to the next. The highlights of the Antarctic Peninsula are many like: Deception Island, Paradise Bay, Neko Harbor, the Lemaire Channel, Plenneau Bay, and beyond the arctic circle. Penguins, seals and whales are plentiful. The greatest advantage of being on an expedition ship is getting close to the ice and unexplored coves. I felt small and humbled in the zodiac with the huge icebergs towering over me.
