Bangladesh 2018
Bangladesh offers a unique blend of people and nature. It is a Muslim nation and among the most densley populated on earth. Most of the country is free of tourism which makes it an exciting travel destination. The Bangaladeshis are warm welcoming people with a rich, and often turbulant, history. Bangladesh is home to the world's largest sand beach at Cox's Bazaar and the largest mangrove forest called the Sundarbans. The Sundarbans is a mist-shrouded, river riddled swamp of shifting tides and man-eating tigers. It is remote, inhospitable and largely uninhabited by people. I will never forget cruising these dark silent waterways and the contrast to the noisy overcrowded streets of Dhaka.
