It was great fun being back in Colombia to enjoy the raucous and colorful Carnaval in Pasto and a 3-day exploratory river cruise down the Magdalena River starting in Mompos and ending in Cartagena. Completing the trip was a visit to my favorite island: Islote Santa Cruz. The island is the most crowded island, per square meter,in the world.
