Cuba: Havana and Trinidad 2019
Havana and Trinidad were the first towns I visited in Cuba and I’ve returned often. I love walking the streets as life unfolds. A friendly greeting of “Hola” and neighborhood doors open and smiling faces appear. It’s the grace and spirit of the Cuban people that keeps me coming back for more. As I walk from neighborhood to neighborhood pealing the layers away, I can only begin to know Cuba’s people, her turbulent past, and our shared humanity.
