I have a profound sense of wonder for the polar regions. I have made several trips to Greenland but this was my first to Ilulissat and Disko Bay. The collosal icebergs, bright blue sky, northern lights and stellar reflections all came together for a magical experience. The red sails magnified reflections and added a touch of scale and color to the arctic scenes. But it was beyond the red sails that I journeyed. It was a time of self reflection that caused me to question my very own existence in this vast world especially when when looking into the face of an enormous iceberg.
