Iceland is a small European island in the northern Atlantic just south of the Arctic Circle. Waterfalls, glaciers, geothermal wonders, Icelandic horses, puffins and wildlife are all abundant. But it is the Icelandic light that is pure magic. The remarkable landscape combined with hip Reykjavik and the pure unpolluted Icelandic air make for a wonderful travel experience. I found the interior of the island, off the beaten path, to be the most amazing. The landscape, reflections, silence and solitude were well worth the bumpy dirt roads to get there.
